Cookie policy

What our apps and websites store on your phone or computer, and why.

Last updated 20 October 2026

The short version

We don't use advertising cookies or tracking from social networks, and we don't follow you around the web. Almost everything we store is needed for the app to work: keeping you signed in, or remembering which pub and board you're scoring at. A Pizza Me asks before it stores anything that isn't essential.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some of our apps use browser storage instead, which does the same job but stays on your device and isn't sent to us with every page. The law treats both the same way, so both are listed here.

Storage that's strictly necessary, meaning the service can't work without it, doesn't need your permission. Anything else does, and we'll ask first.

By service

This website

jefferies.me.uk · ubique-apps.co.uk

Visitors get no cookies at all. The visitor count uses a scrambled code that changes every day and is never stored on your device.

Dale's Darts

darts.ubique-apps.co.uk · apizza.me.uk/darts

No cookies. Dale's Darts uses browser storage, all of it strictly necessary to run the scorer, so there's no banner to click.

A Pizza Me

apizza.me.uk

A session cookie holds your order while you place it. It's strictly necessary, so it can't be switched off. The banner on the site lets you choose Accept or Essential only for anything else, and it remembers your choice.

Apps with a sign-in

WorkSync · In or Out · The Stag List · Hotel Compliance · East Prawle Fair committee portal

These use a sign-in cookie or browser storage to keep you logged in, and to remember small settings such as which team or site you last looked at. They're strictly necessary and are removed when you sign out, or when the session ends.

Other companies

  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on some sites. Your browser fetches them from Google, which sees your IP address, but Google Fonts doesn't set cookies.
  • Links to Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Maps and what3words are plain links. Nothing from those companies loads until you click one, and then their own cookie policies apply.

Controlling cookies and storage

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser's settings, under Privacy or Site data. If you block the strictly necessary ones, signing in and saving your place won't work.
